Took the ICE from Utrecht to Leipzig on a package, zoo ticket was waiting. Did the zoo at my own pace, Gondwanaland especially striking. Völkerschlachtdenkmal afterwards. Breakfast finished early. Happy to do this again.

Arrived Tuesday, lovely and quiet. Package with Zoo Leipzig included, entry was already arranged. Walked the zoo at our own pace, Gondwanaland especially worth it. Heating wouldn't turn down. Good pick for a sorted city break away from the crowds.

Four of us booked a Leipzig package with zoo tickets included, all via Favotrip in one go. Zoo first, then Auerbachs Keller for Faust vibes. Wandered the Karli quarter in the evening for a drink. Wifi dropped in the room. Doing it again next year.

Booked the Leipzig package with the kids (4 and 7), Zoo Leipzig was included, family tickets sorted. Family room with bunk beds was a help. The Gondwanaland tropical hall was a hit, the kids didn't want to leave. Völkerschlachtdenkmal on the extra day. Blind didn't fully close. We'll be back.

The Gondwanaland tropical hall was impressive, then Auerbachs Keller in the evening for Faust vibes. Wall between rooms was thin. Good pick for a sorted city break.
